Anna + Andy are the sweetest… you can tell how much they love their family and friends, which is such a cool thing - when you can SEE their love for each other and their love for their friends and family through their wedding day. Their venue was her brothers house in Palm Springs - which just added another layer of personalization to their day. Every detail was absolute perfection (please take a few minutes to just soak in how stunning her florals were) - simple but extremely intentional and thought-through.

I love a good trip to the desert, I feel like I drive out to Palm Springs so often that it’s such a short drive for me! The vibes in that desert are unmatched - the most upbeat, accepting, positive area - the vacation spot with the perfect mix of partying and relaxing.

Instead of having a “guestbook” they had After the Tone! The guests could pick up the (super cute pink) retro rotary phone and “leave a message” for the bride and groom. From what I saw, there was a perfect mix of friends who may have had a few too many drinks laughing and singing into the phone, and family members leaving heartfelt messages for the newlyweds. Anna + Andy even left themselves a message. What a COOL guestbook idea!! It is going to be an absolute blast for them to listen to. And to take a more emotional turn on things….. As the years pass since my own wedding, and family members pass, the wedding photos that I have with them are what I hold onto… but as I was thinking about this phone guestbook, I think about how cool it would be to have a meaningful “voicemail” from those family members to hold on to and listen to. Anyway… just a really really cool idea for any wedding reception!!
